The Delivery of the MS CONTI OPAL

MS CONTI OPAL

On April 30^th, 2010, the CONTI Group placed its first Chinese Bulkcarrier newbuilding, the MS CONTI OPAL, into service. With a deadweight capacity of 57,015 tdw the vessel is classified as so called Supramax Bulkcarrier.

Ms. Camilla Dahm christened the vessel already at 26^th April 2010 in an official ceremony at the Chinese Shipyard "Blue Sky" in Ningbo.

At 30^th April, 2010 the MS CONTI OPAL has reported for its seven-year charter for Korea Line Corporation (KLC). The first voyage leaded to Bulkcarrier to Topolobampo, Mexico.
