The Delivery of the MS CONTI ACHAT

MS CONTI ACHAT

On May 18^th, 2010, the CONTI Group placed its second Chinese Bulkcarrier newbuilding, the MS CONTI ACHAT into service. With a deadweight capacity of 57,000 tdw the vessel is classified as so called Supramax Bulkcarrier.

Ms. Barbara Olechnowicz, wife of Andrzej Olechnowicz, BBG General Site Manager in China, christened the vessel one day before in an official ceremony at the Chinese Shipyard "Jiangsu Hantong" in the Province Jiang Su.

At 19^th May, 2010 the MS CONTI ACHAT has reported under Charterer's name "POS ACHAT" for its twelve-year charter for STX Pan Ocean Shipping. After taking bunker it will set off for its first voyage to Vancouver, Canada for loading sulphur for transportation to Santos, Brasilia.
