Over the past 40 years, CONTI has developed from a small scale enterprise to a well known ship financing and management group acting worldwide.

1970 Foundation of COSIMA REEDEREI

1984 Purchase of first cellular container vessel

1990 Restructuring of the CONTI REEDEREI

1993 Delivery of the first 3,000 TEU class container vessel

1996 Introduction of the first 3,900 TEU container carrier

1997 Delivery of the MV COLUMBUS, a 420 pax. cruise vessel

1999 Delivery of the first 5,600 TEU postpanmax container carrier

2004 Delivery of the first 8,200 TEU container vessel

2006 Completion of the 8 x 8,100 TEU container vessels

2008 Diversification into the tanker market with 6 x 37,000 dwt product/chemical tankers

2008 Delivery of the MS CONTI JUPITER, 10,960 TEU, biggest CV under German Flag

2009 Commissioning of 2 x 105,000 dwt product/chemical tankers
